Earlier Wu Chun accidentally injured in his left foot during the concert in Hong Kong. After treated by the doctor, he was advised to rest for six to eight weeks in order to recover fully. However, there was only 28 days left to the concert in Malaysia. With his foot injury, one could not help worrying about the possibility of yet another delay for the Fahrenheit Fantasy Concert in Malaysia.
There had been several obstacles for the Fahrenheit Fantasy Concert in Malaysia. The concert was originally scheduled to be held on November 15th last year. However due to Jiro Wang’s leg injury, it was delayed to March 28th of this year. Unexpectedly, with only 28 days before the concert, Wu Chun accidentally injured his left foot while swinging on stage on wire in the Hong Kong concert. Although after treated by a doctor there was no serious consequence, Wu Chun was still advised to rest to help recovery.
From understanding, after being x-rayed in the hospital, it was discovered that Wu Chun had a hairline fracture at his left heel. The doctor diagnosed that with his injury Wu Chun must not run or jump within the next two or three weeks and certainly must refrain from dancing and other similar activities. As for a complete recovery, it would require six to eight weeks.
Malay Organizer: Not Affected For the Time Being
However, because the Fahrenheit Concert in Malaysia is only 28 days away, in the end would Wu Chun be able to continue to perform or would his injury affect the concert and lead to the concert being reschedule once again?
This newspaper contacted the concert organizers this morning. Since Wu Chun’s accident only took place last night (Saturday), there were still many issues that the organizers were trying to get more information and resolved. The concert coordinator frankly admitted that after the incident took place, their contact did call from Hong Kong to notify them of Wu Chun being injured and assured them not to be overly worried.
[To be honest, with regards to the extent of Wu Chun’s injury, I am not sure whether it is as serious as that reported by the media.] She laughed: [After all, we also know that media would sometimes over-exaggerate in their reporting.]
The organizers in Malaysia are in the process of finding information on Wu Chun’s injury. In regards to whether his injury would affect the upcoming Malaysia concert, the concert coordinator expressed: [To this point, nothing has been affected.]
